Skyler Meadow Levine is a multidisciplinary dance artist whose work spans classical ballet, contemporary dance, and aerial silks. She began her training at Nashville Ballet, progressing through the academy and trainee program before joining Nashville Ballet’s Second Company at age 17. There, she performed in numerous classical and contemporary works, including originating a role in Gina Patterson’s 72 Steps, commissioned by the League of Women Voters and dancing in the Corps de Ballet in main stage productions. She has since performed with diMossa, Shackled Feet DANCE in Steal Away at OZ Arts, and was a featured dancer in the historic Central City Opera House’s production of Kiss Me Kate.

After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, Skyler accepted a company position with the Davis Contemporary Dance Company. There she worked with numerous choreographers including Robert Sher-Machherndl, Terrell Davis, Rachael Harding, Kevin “Iega” Jeff, Hannah Kahn, and Aubrey Klinger Fearns. Her work also includes choreography and performance at the Kindling Arts Festival and in music videos for artists such as Margo Price and Tristen Gaspadarek.

Skyler is currently a company member with FALL Productions, and in 2026 became the Assistant Director after her work on Where We Meet as a choreographer, dancer, and creative producer. Where We Meet in collaboration with Healing Housing told the stories of women in recovery from substance use disorder, working to decrease stigma and shed light on the recovery process. This production is at the heart of Skyler’s work as a dancer and performance artist. 

Skyler is passionate about using her work in the community as a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Social Worker to create art that promotes healing on a social, physiological, and environmental level. Her creative process involves synthesizing her work as a clinician and advocate with her various dance languages to create work that is both beyond words and fully digestible. Skyler views dance as the conduit of portraying the voiceless—the deepest emotional experiences that can only be felt and shown through the body. She believes that, when done with authenticity, integrity, and loving collaboration, this type of work can have profound ripple effects, changing the genetic coding of our bodies, communities, and environment.
